ChukidoKwan Combat Hapkido System

American Martial Arts is the only school in the United States certified to teach Chukido-Kwan under the guidence of our Grand-Master Charles R.L. Platten, Jr., an 8th degree black belt.

Chukido-kwan is a style of combat Hapkido and Chinese Kempo. Master Chuck Platten started martial arts in Chitoryu Karate under Sensei Masami Tsuroka forty-eight years ago. After a few years Sensei Chuck trained in Kong Shin Bup Hapkido.

Later he developed the Chukido-Kwan Combat System. Sensei Chuck also holds rank in Tae Kwon Do, Jiujitsu and Chinese Kempo. Grand Master Chuck is a founding member of the World Black Belt organization and he is also the director of the Canadian chapter of this association.

Our art is Mixed Martial Arts Combat System: Karate, Chinese Kempo, Hapkido & Jiujitsu.
